Masters Degree in OD

The Master’s degree programme is designed as a sandwich programme and spread  over a period of three years, except for holders of approved Post-graduate Diploma in OD and other qualifications which may transfer credit hours and therefore complete the programme within a minimum of one year period.

A combination of class room and practical work are undertaken. For the class room work, students will attend six three-weekly modules at six months intervals.

In addition, students pair as OD practitioner / Consulting teams to undertake practical assignments and present field reports at mentoring sessions for assessment and feedback.

Modules and Course outlines

Students are expected to cover eight modules over the three-year period for the Masters degree. Six of the modules are taught courses while the remaining two are practical experiences and entail a period of professional attachment to OD Consultancy firms. During this period, students are expected to bring into practice the theories they learned in the class room. At the end of the six modules, students will enjoy the same benefits as listed for Post-Graduate Diploma students and in addition, be able to:

  1. Successfully market OD services and Undertake OD interventions
  2. Submit intervention reports on the OD Consultancy services undertaken
  3. Conduct Customer Service Intervention
  4. Undertake Emotional Intelligence Intervention
  5. Establish a Consultancy Business
  6. Undertake Management / Leadership Development Intervention, etc.
